2008 HOLIDAY SCHEDULE AND NOTES

Our Hoilday schedule is tenativly as follows. We will be closed November 26th - 30th For Thanksgiving break and shutdown. The market will actually be open on Friday the 28th and we may have light staff in the Balzac office but manufacturing and shipping will be closed the entire break.

2008 NEW CROP FIRST ARRIVALS

Once again it is time for new crop arrivals to start to trickle in. The first two RA certified lots to come in so far this year have been exceptional. The first is a completely new origin for our Rainforest Alliance Certified product line, a Fair Trade / Rainforest Alliance Certified, Organic, Indonesian Sumatra, Gayo Mountain, MD Grade 1. This coffee is a deep beautiful green, excellent flavor and by far, one of the best Sumatrans I have cupped in a long while. I am currently sending out samples of this and will have it set up as a product before long, but in the meantime just call us if you would like to give it a try.

This year has seen the largest increase in RA inventory and production in goodcoffee history. Both the Goodcoffee Roasted and Balzac Specialty green operations have grown exponentially this year, as a result we now have what is probably the most diverse inventory of Rainforest Alliance Certified coffees anywhere in the world. Site upgrades and additions

The site has been upgraded to a more recent version of our iceCAT site tracking engine. Only minimal changes have been made to the site content and structure. However, the user will notice, altered navigation menus, new page headers and trailers, cleaner site wide CSS (styles) and other minor correction and additions.
